I just uploaded a pole vault video I took earlier today. It was so much easier to watch and play in slow motion. So far I love it.

This was my go to app for viewing my swing but no longer works after I updated my phone to ios17. It crashes scrolling down the open menu everytime. App is desperate need of an update if anybody is home.

Wont launch on ipad with ios16 without an internet connection...on top of having access to all your photos/videos... that's super shady. Nothing in this app should need internet access. Beware.

Sports experts truly appreciate the CMV application!

Was ok with ads and UI since free but am uninstalling since they changed it so that volume is uncontrollably on max and through phone speaker when playing videos now. Not usable.

I’ve been a CMV user for over a decade. Maybe not for all devices but it still works on my iPhone X And I love the video-editing features on Pro Can blame the dev for Apple’s changes. But we wish the software team could squeeze in one more update before retiring :)

Has the controls that I want, but volume controls have no effect on sound coming from the app. With my phone on silent mode and volume all the way down, audio from recordings still plays. UI is very dated, and some UI elements overlap with each other. Kind of unpolished. Frame by frame playback works well with slow motion clips. Zoom function works well. Video markup features work well. If I could mute audio, 4 stars. If UI was better, 5.

App now plays at full volume ignoring device volume settings

User interface has buttons that are halfway off the screen. This app does appears free on thehe app store, no indication of upgrades or in-app purchases; however, key features prompt for a required upgrade from within the app. App support links on the app store do not point to a valid web address.

CMV video used to have a great Windows version/program where you could use 3 screens in the program. This allowed the coach/analyzer to put up a ‘Before’ video (say, on the Left) a video of a person/pro with good technique in the middle, then the person’s ‘After’ technique on the Right. So it was easy to show the student how much improvement they had made/were making. But CMVs program in the ‘Side-by-side’ analysis arena is not even close. CoachesEye seems to be the best program for the time being in this arena. But I’m rooting for CMV.

If only it didn’t crash and become unresponsive after a few uses.... I have to uninstall it and reinstall it in order to use it again..

I have had this app for years and it worked fine until recently when I opened up the app and when I try to select an option, it doesn’t do anything. It’ll work if I delete the app and reinstall it, but it only works until I close the app out and then I have the same problem again when I try to open it again. I used to love this app, but not anymore.

I loved this app. I’m a p.e. teacher, and I would use this to help my students see what they were doing. The farthest I get is the page where I can choose to record, except it freezes. I can’t seem to get anything to work. I’m SO disappointed!

With iOS 13 this thing is toast. The developers seem unable or unwilling to support it. Nice GUI but very unreliable on court. Hit or miss on saving longer videos (hi res >15 minutes). Very frustrating. Have corresponded with the developers and they seem unable to fix. These guys have stumbled so there is a clear revenue opportunity for a better capitalized company to take over. I would pay more for a reliable video recording and playback software with the advertised capabilities that actually works consistently. Adobe? You reading this?

The free version no longer works with IOS 13.

When you zoom out (on iphone 7 at least) it leaves a black border bottom and right sides. Also bluetooth headphones don't work with playback.

It was great until i tried to write on it and sync it with another vid, then i tried to save and it crashed about half the time. The idea of an app like this is great, but i don't really like it

Could have used this coaching the Raiders!

I use this for baseball player one of the fastest moments in sports the overhand throw. And it blurry at the point of rotation. Wish it would be perfect.

My club uploads practice videos to Vimeo which I can download. iTunes imports them into ‘Movies’ as Home Movies. I then sync these to my iPhone for review and they are available in the Videos App. I was hoping to use this app to access those videos and review frame-by-frame and slo-mo of our practices. Unfortunately, this is restricted to only videos in the Photo Library.

Good for analysis of form of a short video clip, but not good for measuring reaction time, as the frames do not actually correspond to the 120 fps video frames.

Changed my golf swing = changed my life! Get this app

I've tried practically every golf analysis App. This one stands way out beyond any paid or free app. Has all the functions a serious instructor needs and Saves me time by automatically trimming, email, organizing, and 'CRM'ing my students videos.

This is a great app for golf swing analysis. The tools are intuitive and simple to use. The camera controls are simple and functional allowing you to view from 2x, 1x and slo mo frame by frame. Importing video from the camera roll is a breeze. I was able to record several swings and use the app within minutes. Great App!! Highly recommend.

Don't waste your time with this piece of junk. It doesn't even work, goes around in circles. A monkey can make a better app than this, absolutely horrible. I want that 5 minutes of my life back!!

Really did like this app before the update. Now it is completely useless. Will need to delete.

With the new slow motion cameras that are avail. The frame by frame and slow motion are clear and bright. I've used this app for a long time. It's super easy, with instant results/feedback. This app is a must for ANY sport that would require frame by frame or slo motion analysis.

Just need a "spy" or "secret" option.

Has not worked since the iOS 8 upgrade. Too bad, I love this app, great tool for analyzing video to improve sports performance.

New iPad want work crashes . Great app! so I'm going to purchase $14 app to see if this will work with my new iPad

This was easy to use and I use it more often than I thought. With AppleTV I get wireless video analysis streaming to an HDTV. It comes in very handy. I highly recommend it with AppleTV for group video instruction!
